The First 40 Days Postpartum

Service Description

The First 40 Days Postpartum Support Package offers 3.5/hrs of care on a daily basis, and is designed to enfold families in care and support following the arrival of a new baby/babies. One of our postpartum doulas provides care in the early weeks postpartum to help with recovery and support the family in caring for their new baby/babies. Under this package, our postpartum doulas offer the following services: Free initial consultation One face-to-face visits to discuss goals/options and prepare for the postpartum period 3.5 hrs/ day daily support throughout the early days/weeks of parenthood Unlimited text/email support when Doula is not working. Referrals as needed to community or other resources Assistance with baby care and self-care recovery measures Assistance in caring for and feeding your new baby/babies Support adjusting to new roles Household organizational support, such as: -preparing occasional light snacks -shopping for groceries -helping with baby laundry -tidying up -washing bottles/dishes *This price covers 140 hours of services* *1,000 deposit and the rest paid in full by 36 weeks*
