Sibling Doula Package

Service Description

Our sibling doulas provide on-call childcare support for older siblings when parents must leave for the hospital or other birthplace for the birth of a new baby; we can also provide in-home support for older siblings during a homebirth. Our sibling doulas offer the following services: -Free initial consultation/interview -One face-to-face prenatal visit to introduce the doula to older sibling(s) and to learn the family’s needs -Referrals as needed to community or other resources -On-call services 'round the clock from 38 weeks until the birth of your baby -Continuous childcare for up to 24 hours during the labor/birth and early postpartum hours (additional charges apply after first 24 hours of support) Your doula will provide up to 24 hours of continuous sibling support while you are in labor and in the early hours postpartum. If you need support beyond 24 hours, additional hours of support will be charged at the hourly rate of $30/hour. After 24 hours, your doula may rely on back-up support to continue to provide coverage. At no time will your child(ren) be left unattended. *$500 is due at the time of contract signing and the remaining $611 is due at 36 weeks gestation. This price covers up to 2 children. There is a $100 charge for each additional child.
